Today students designed their dream home. Each student was given a piece of waterfront property on which they drew their dream ranch or house. After students shared what was included in on their lot we combined our pieces of property to form the river which all of these "waterfront" properties were part of. Unfortunately, not all of the private developments complemented each other and the fishing areas were further impacted by a paper mill and the Hanford Site which happened to be located upstream. We will come back to this shared river space on Thursday.
Reminder: Tuesday and Wednesday we will be walking to the NRC. On Wednesday we will meet with Dr. Courtney to discuss our Master Plan for the NRC and hear about his efforts to divert water from Ginger Creek for use at the NRC. Wear clothing that is comfortable and appropriate for the weather.
