With so much going on the world we have started spending the first 10 minutes of each class reading news and stories from around the world. On Monday we took time to reflect on how to best follow current events going on in the world. Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday we read three different articles and completed a short quiz about the story.
Students should read the article and then write down five of their own rules for following breaking news and an example of what this looks like in practice (they can use rules from the reading but should provide their own examples).
Download the PDF, read the story, and then complete the comprehension quiz at the end of the story.
